Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh recently criticized a photographer at a wedding reception for wearing Balenciaga, a luxury fashion brand. He urged the photographer not to wear Balenciaga due to a controversy he referenced. According to Singh, he had even burned all his Balenciaga clothes.
Singh expressed happiness at his friend Sonakshi Sinha‘s wedding, praising her choice of husband, Zaheer. He described Zaheer as an awesome guy and hoped he would keep Sonakshi happy.
In 2022, Balenciaga faced backlash over ad campaigns that were accused of sexualizing children. The luxury fashion house apologized and sued its production company, North Six Inc., for $25 million. The controversial ads included images of children with plush teddy bear bags featuring bondage elements, as well as props from a child pornography case. Balenciaga later removed the photos and issued a detailed apology on Instagram, taking responsibility but also blaming North Six Inc.
