Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” has made history at the Oscars this year by winning a total of 7 awards. Nolan himself took home the Best Director award, while his film’s cast and crew also celebrated their first-ever Oscar wins.

Cillian Murphy clinched the Best Actor award for his role in “Oppenheimer,” and Robert Downey Jr. was honored with the Best Supporting Actor award. Emma Stone received the Best Actress award, and the film itself was named Best Film, accumulating a total of 7 Oscars from its 13 nominations. The film, starring Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt, received the highest number of nominations (13) at the 2024 Oscars.

The 96th Academy Awards ceremony took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Alongside Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,” films like “Poor Things” and “Barbie” were also contenders in several key categories, with Jimmy Kimmel serving as the host for the evening.
