India’s 78th Independence Day was marked with enthusiasm and patriotism by various celebrities from the Indian film industry. Numerous stars, including Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Allu Arjun, and Sara Ali Khan, conveyed their warm wishes to fans and followers through social media.

Filled with optimism and pride, these celebrities voiced their hopes for the nation’s ongoing success and development.

**Message of Hope**

Akshay Kumar, whose film *Khel Khel Mein* premiered on August 15, posted on Instagram, “Celebrating freedom, pride, and progress. May our flag always fly high and our hearts swell with pride. Salute to our freedom. Best wishes to all on Independence Day. Jai Hind.” Priyanka Chopra also used Instagram Stories to post an image of the Indian flag, captioning it, “Happy Independence Day.”

Ayushmann Khurrana expressed his thoughts by saying, “Celebrating 78 years! We still have much work ahead. We have made great strides but there is more to achieve. Let’s continue to build a stronger, brighter nation together.”

Rakul Preet Singh shared a video of herself and her husband Jackky Bhagnani hoisting the Indian flag. In her Instagram post, she wrote, “Proudly raising the flag and celebrating our nation’s spirit this Independence Day. Jai Hind!”

Sara Ali Khan posted a photo with her father Saif Ali Khan, both holding the tricolor, with the caption, “Happy Independence Day.”

Suniel Shetty paid his respects by posting a video of himself saluting the Indian flag, writing, “Proud to be born in Incredible India. Happy Independence Day. Jai Hind.”

Taapsee Pannu shared an image of the Indian flag with a heart emoji, while Arjun Kapoor posted a caricature of himself saluting the flag. Sunny Deol and Ananya Panday both posted images of children holding the tricolor on Instagram. Ananya accompanied her post with AR Rahman’s “Maa Tujhe Salaam,” and Sunny wrote, “Love your motherland, remember those who fought for freedom; be a good human being, be a good Indian.”

Kartik Aaryan used X (formerly Twitter) to extend his Independence Day wishes, sharing a picture of himself in a suit with the Indian flag in the background. Chiranjeevi also posted on X, saying, “Happy Independence Day to All! May we always remember the struggles and sacrifices of our forefathers that gave us this freedom. May their ideals continue to guide us towards righteousness, compassion, and excellence. Jai Hind.”

Jr NTR, currently recovering from a wrist injury, also shared a message on X, writing, “Wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day. Jai Hind.”
