PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Hollywood Theatre is set to host a community benefit screening of the film “Moonstruck” this Saturday, May 31. The event is in collaboration with “Opera in the Park Portland,” a nonprofit organization that has been providing free, high-quality concert opera performances to the Portland community since 2003.
All proceeds from the screening will support Opera in the Park’s upcoming presentation of “Carmen,” scheduled for July 27 at Peninsula Park.
Ted Hurliman, the director of education and special projects at Hollywood Theatre, manages the community benefit screening program.
