Diddy’s former stylist saw rapper attack Cassie, tried to help by jumping on his back: testimony
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former stylist Deonte Nash testified on Wednesday that he once saw the rapper beat his then-girlfriend Cassie at her home.
Nash said that while he and Diddy’s former assistant, who goes by the pseudonym “Mia,” were packing Cassie
for a Drake music festival in 2013 or 2014, he heard a knock on the door and answered it while Cassie was asleep on the couch.
Nash claimed it was Diddy and he shouted at Cassie: “B—- didn’t I tell you to answer the phone?”
Diddy then grabbed Cassie by her hair, dragged her off the couch and began to hit her “pretty hard,” Nash claimed.
He said he, Mia and Cassie tried to run to her bedroom and shut the door, but Diddy, who was allegedly “enraged,” pushed it open and continued to hit and kick her.
Nash said he and Mia both jumped on Diddy’s back to try to get him to stop, but Mia was thrown off.
Diddy continued to hit Cassie, Nash claimed, until her head hit the edge of the bedframe, causing her to bleed profusely.
Nash claimed Diddy said to her, “Look what you all made me do,” while Mia went to get towels.
He said he tried to call 911, but was told to hang up so he did, adding that he doesn’t remember if it was Diddy who told him to hang up.
Nash added that Diddy sent Cassie to a plastic surgeon after the attack, and when Nash saw her the next day she had a gash and stitches on her forehead.
