Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan is tying the knot with her longtime partner, Nupur Shikhare, today at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. Nupur, born a year after Aamir’s Bollywood debut, hails from Pune and educated in Mumbai. Known as a fitness coach, he’s credited with transforming not just Ira but also Aamir and actor Sushmita Sen. Their love story began during the lockdown when Nupur trained Aamir and Ira, leading to social media declarations of love. Nupur proposed last September, and they celebrated with an engagement in November, where he romantically proposed once more.
Nupur’s family has ties to the world of performing arts. His mother, Pritam Shikhare, is a skilled Kathak dancer and teacher. She’s known for training Renee Sen, the aspiring actress and daughter of Sushmita Sen.
Nupur first made headlines with a bold, controversial nude photoshoot in 2019. The pictures show Nupur, in the nude, running, jumping, and flexing his muscles in an outdoor area.
