Ankita Lokhande made waves during her appearance on the reality show Bigg Boss 17, emerging as one of the finalists and frequently drawing attention for her gameplay tactics.
Accompanied by her husband, Vicky Jain, Ankita’s personal struggles took center stage during the season, prompting fans to express concerns about her relationship. In a recent interview, Ankita disclosed that Kangana Ranaut also expressed worry for her.
During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Ankita Lokhande shared that while filming Manikarnika alongside Kangana Ranaut, they developed a sisterly bond, leading Kangana to fret over her well-being during the show. Ankita revealed, “I want to say this, when I was in Bigg Boss, Kangana used to talk to my mother, and she was very worried about everything that was going on in my life.” Additionally, Ankita disclosed that Kangana advised her for an hour after her eviction from the Bigg Boss house, offering guidance on how to navigate her situation.
Reflecting on her relationship with Kangana, Ankita remarked, “There is nothing special about Kangana and my story, but every time we meet, she says ‘Ankita is like me. She is crazy, very crazy.’ I think Kangana and my vibe match perfectly.”
Throughout Ankita’s stint on the show, Kangana Ranaut lent her support and expressed hope for her victory. Addressing the conflicts between Ankita and Vicky Jain aired on the show and amplified on social media, Kangana took to Instagram to highlight the media’s portrayal, emphasizing the support of Ankita’s mother-in-law. Kangana stated, “Media doing their best to break the family, they won’t show you how Ankita Lokhande’s saasuma (mother-in-law) rooting for her, also love that chuckle in the end… Ha ha too cute aunty, reality shows come and go but family is forever, I hope my friend Ankita wins but not at the cost of her marriage.”
Despite reaching the finals, Ankita ultimately secured the position of the fourth runner-up on the show.
