Hugh Jackman brought his showmanship to the Hollywood Bowl stage for a special performance to celebrate the venue’s 2025 opening night!
The 56-year-old Oscar-nominated actor gave fans a career retrospective by performing songs from his biggest projects during the concert on Saturday night (June 7) at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Hugh kicked off the night by teasing his upcoming movie Song Sung Blue, in which he plays a Neil Diamond tribute singer. He opened the show with “Crunchy Granola Suite” and later sang “Sweet Caroline” as well.
Hugh performed songs from his musical movies Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman, as well as his hit Broadway shows The Boy From Oz and The Music Man. At the end of the night, a firework show accompanied “From Now On” for a beautiful moment.
Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl raised more than $2.6 million to support the LA Phil and its learning and community programs. Hugh was joined on stage by eighteen musicians from the YOLA (Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles) program during “A Million Dreams.”
The Hollywood Bowl 2025 season runs through Sunday, September 28, 2025 and tickets are on sale now.
