Sunny Deol to make OTT debut
Sunny Deol is busy with back-to-back shoots. Amid this, it has been reported that the actor is all set to make his much-anticipated OTT debut. And if reports are to be believed, then the actor will be seen in a popular 2007 Hollywood action flick. It will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. The 2007 action film starred Kevin Bacon.
Times Now reported that Sunny was set to make his OTT debut in a film produced by Suparn Verma. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the actor is set to make his Netflix debut with an action thriller directed by We Are Family filmmaker Siddharth P Malhotra. The source also shared information, “The film is based on the 2007 Kevin Bacon-led Death Sentence and has been adapted in Hindi by Suparn Verma. Sunny has allotted bulk dates for the shoot and is being paid a hefty amount to spearhead the feature film.”
Apart from this, Sunny Deol’s action film Jaat is one of the most popular films of 2025, and its overall box office collection reflects that. Gopichand Malineni directed the movie, which astonished the audience with its powerful performances and violent action sequences. The film that premiered in theaters on April 10 is all set for its digital release. Here’s how to watch Jaat online. As per a Jagran English report, Netflix purchased the film’s digital rights after its theatrical premiere. Reportedly, Jaat is set to debut on the OTT platform on June 5. Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda play the key characters in the Gopichand Malineni film, which also stars Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P. Ravi Shankar and Babloo Prithiveeraj. S. Thaman composed the music while Rishi Punjabi was behind its cinematography.
Jaat has a total collection of over Rs 88 crore. On day one, the film grossed about 9.5 crore and at the end of the first week Rs 61 crore. But the collections slowly dipped in the later weeks especially after the release of Kesari 2.
