Anant Ambani, who is approaching his 30th birthday, undertook a padayatra (pilgrimage on foot)as a spiritual vow to honor his cultural roots and seek the blessings of Shree Dwarkadhish during the occasion of Ram Navami.
Covering a distance of 170 kilometers, Anant walked from Jamnagar to Dwarka in Gujarat, beginning his journey on March 29, 2025, and reaching the temple on April 6, 2025. Many individuals supported him along the way, including Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, who joined him during the walk.
His wife, Radhika Merchant, shared how this pilgrimage was a long-cherished wish of Anant’s. He had dreamed of making the journey barefoot from their home in Jamnagar to the Dwarkadhish temple ever since their wedding. She expressed her pride and joy in seeing him accomplish it and celebrate his 30th birthday at the temple. In her words:
“Today is Anant’s 30th birthday. He had always wished to walk from our home in Jamnagar to Dwarka after marriage. For many years, it wasn’t possible, but this year, with dedication, he fulfilled that dream. I’m very proud of him, and we’re celebrating his birthday in the presence of Shree Dwarkadhish. Thank you to everyone who prayed for his successful journey.”

Nita Ambani, Anant’s mother, also accompanied the couple to seek blessings at the temple. Speaking to ANI, she expressed pride in her youngest son’s accomplishment, emphasizing how over the past ten days, many young people had come together to support Anant and promote cultural values.
Anant Ambani himself spoke about the spiritual significance of his journey. He shared that it was a deeply personal experience, which he began and ended by invoking God. He conveyed heartfelt thanks to Lord Dwarkadhish and to everyone who supported him along the way, adding that he was soon to be joined by his wife and mother at the temple.
