Actress Alia Bhatt has embarked on a new venture as a storyteller with the launch of her debut children’s picture book. She announced plans for a series of books, sharing her excitement on Instagram about the release of the first installment titled Ed Finds A Home, under her kids’ wear brand Ed-a-Mamma. In her post, Alia expressed gratitude to her collaborators Vivek Kamath, Shabnam Minwalla, and Tanvi Bhat, crediting them for bringing the book to life with their ideas and creativity.
Alia also paid tribute to her grandfather, whom she fondly remembers as her favorite storyteller, on his birth anniversary by sharing cherished childhood photographs. She launched the book at the Storyverse – Children’s Lit Fest in Mumbai alongside her mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt. Alia appeared radiant in a floral-printed maxi dress during the event, which included a reading session where excerpts from the book were presented by Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, and Alia herself. Following the reading, Alia engaged with young fans, receiving their feedback and introducing the book’s characters to the audience, as seen in a viral video from the event.
