Nora Fatehi shared intresting facts about her initial days in Mumbai.

Nora Fatehi, known for her hit songs like “Dilbar” and “O Saki Saki,” continues to ascend the ladder of success in the entertainment industry.

Establishing herself as both an actress and a dancer, Fatehi’s prowess in dance, style, and versatile performances has earned her recognition. Amid the triumph of her recent release, “Madgaon Express,” directed by Kunal Kemmu, she reflects on the challenges she faced during her early days in Mumbai.

In an interview with Mashable India’s “The Bombay Journey,” the 32-year-old actress recounts arriving in India with just Rs 5000 in her pocket. She shares memories of sharing a cramped 3BHK apartment with nine other girls, a situation that often left her questioning her decisions. Fatehi describes the experience as traumatic, recalling how she felt living with “nine psychopaths” and sharing a room with two others.

Discussing the exploitation faced by newcomers in the industry, Fatehi reveals how agencies would exploit them, deducting significant portions of their earnings, leaving them with little to survive on. She emphasizes the lack of laws and regulations to protect individuals from such exploitation, expressing her need for therapy to cope with the rough times.

Currently, Nora Fatehi serves as a judge on various celebrity dance reality shows and was last seen in “Madgaon Express.” Her upcoming projects include the film “Crakk” opposite Vidyut Jammwal and the comedy “100%” alongside John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh.
