4 dead, 1 injured after fiery crash on I-40 and Hollywood, MPD says | News

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Four people are dead and another person was injured after a fiery crash on I-40 on Saturday afternoon, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) said. 

Officers responded to a four-car crash at I-40 West and North Hollywood Street around 3:32 p.m.

According to MPD, four people were pronounced dead on the scene and one person was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition. 

MPD reported being on the scene of a traffic accident and that all lanes have been blocked.
